Hackers racked up over half a million on credit cards

I know right, another hacker story. This happened in Australia but it can happen anywhere.  Well these fools got caught. The Australian Federal Police busted a gang of Romanian credit card hackers.

Seven of sixteen people that was detained got arrested after the cops ambushed 36 locations looking for these hackers.
This crew racked up half a million bucks on 30,000 Aussie credit cards.

With the dang on Remote Desktop Protocol option on Microsoft computers. For those that don’t know what this is, it basely mirrors your screen and keyboard of a remote system. So what you see on your screen, they can see on theirs without being in the same dam room.
If you move your mouse, the hacker can see that and every other thing you do on it.

Moral of the story to retailer and personal users..
Please make sure you have the Remote Desktop Protocol option off on your computer when you are connected to a network. It only takes that one good time.
